Johann

Dear father and mother of William, Dear family and friends of William, I didn't know William physical and not for a long time, but I havn't been in touch with many beings who had cared about everything around him like him. This letter from him may reflect his deep connection to everybody around him and is dedicated to all the people he ever met: **** "I wish there were more people like you, or that I were closer to you. But at the same time, I feel as though I have already known you my entire life. I have known you through many other people, by many other names, all who had different bodies, different beliefs and used different words. :) Throughout my life, I have known many strangers who were kind to me, showed me guidance, and wisdom. It was always a bit different, but the essential nature was always the same. This sounds crazy, but for a long time I have felt as though divine forces were manifesting through strangers sharing wisdom and kindness.. It's like this: In Hinduism, they have "avatars", or "manifestations." You know what I mean? There are gods and then there are people are born from these gods. I don't see it that way. That is not my view. As I see it, the bodies of the gods are already here. Avalokiteshvara has a thousand hands -- not because she is some kind of bizarre monstrous creature -- Avalokiteshvara has a thousand hands because right now, there are thousands of hands in the world giving help to others. That is Avalokiteshvara! :) When you practice compassion, you are like a finger or a fingernail of Avalokiteshvara. You are helping her grow! And so, people are unknowingly possessed by divine spirits without knowing it. Just as my blood cell does not know it is a blood cell, my skin cell does not know it is a skin cell, my hair, everything in my body has no self-knowledge... We also have no self-knowledge. We do not see that we are all merely the tools of much larger, more complicated beings. Our own renunciation, our own practice, it is no different than being a good bacteria, a good tree, or a good planet earth. "Accept the good, avoid the bad, and know the essential, nothing more and nothing less" *** If we like to honor William we can nothing but care about our self and put effort to develop a compassion toward everybody around us and understand the value of peace. Being like him will never leave forever, there kind will be always help our heart. A favorite poem of William: *** When I crave things, They may seem delicious but do not bring delight. When I renounce things, it does not bright delight But I am never disappointed. Joyous morality, Devoid of pride, My smile is subtle; I am satisfied. *** with loving kindness Johann and all those who came in touch with William and his live around me
