Condolence: To Jackie's precious daughter as well as the rest of her friends and family, I would like to share my condolences for your loss.
Jackie was a wonderful person who made me feel welcome since my first week of working at CCC. She would stop in to see me in the office every once in a while just to chat. During the flu clinic last fall, she came in and told me the story of her daughter catching the flu, and how she almost lost her. She said if I needed her to tell others who didn't want to get the shot what your family went through, she would gladly help!
I hadn't known about this surgery as I had been teaching a class and wasn't out of my office much. When she found out, she took the time to come see me and explain what she was facing. She felt bad that I had not been aware! We talked and talked, and I had one last hug. I can't tell you what it meant to me for her to come over and take the time to include me in what was an extremely difficult thing she was going through. I loved her and am going to miss her terribly...please know how much she meant to me, and that she was a wonderful person. She will never be replaced in my heart.
