Roderick W. Booth, 91, of Morrisville, NY, formerly of Kingston, NY, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Crouse Community Center.
He was born April 5, 1926 in Ellenville, NY a son of William and Dorothy DeGroat Booth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII, having served from 1944-46. Rod had worked at IBM and then for the Kingston School District before retiring.
Surviving are his children, Judith Ann and Stephen Bohan of Fort Wayne, IN; Patricia and Cary VanVoorhis of Georgetown, NY; Peter and Lorraine Booth of Kingston; Joseph Booth of Pine Bush, NY; Stephen and Alison Booth of Croton-on-Hudson, NY. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary A. Bruck Booth.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Mary’s Church, Wylie St., Hamilton, NY.
Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Kingston, NY will be private at the convenience of his family.
Friends are invited to call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, on Thursday from 4-6pm.
