James D. Lemery, 61, of Sherburne, NY passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2017.
James was born on May 26, 1955, the son of Thomas and Patricia Doyle Lemery. Jim graduated from Hamilton High School in 1973. He served in the U.S. Army for four years then graduated from Oswego State University. He was a caregiver and loved music, especially listening to the Beatles and playing guitar.
James is survived by his mother Patricia of Sherburne; five children Matthew, Travis Jamie, Nathan and Hadin; two grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Jack and Cindy Lemery of Boston, MA and their children Rob and Jeff Lemery; sister Betty Lemery of Syracuse and her children Jason, Andy, and Erin; several great nieces and nephews; and his rescue cat Mr. Boots.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Sherburne Emergency Squad, PO Box 924, Sherburne, NY 13460.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, NY.
