My parents, Nellie and Francis Casey were good friends with Ethel and Frank Carney and we spent many good times visiting them or having them visit with us in Ridgefield. When they lived on MiddleRiver Road in Danbury, they had a horse named DOLLY that I would ride. I went to visit Ethel when she was in the Nursing home in New Milford. She was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met.... She had alzheimers but when I would ask her if she knew who i was, she would always say, "You look like a Casey girl to me!" My older siblings were around the same age was Jean, Allyn and "Butch" as we called him.
