Obituary for Margaret L. Kidd (Hoch)

Margaret L. Kidd, 82, of Bouckville, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton with her family by her side.
She was born June 13, 1934 in Croghan, NY, a daughter of Theodore and Ethel Watson Hoch. On June 21, 1952 Margaret married Joseph Kidd in Bouckville. She had worked at Chesebrough Ponds in Oriskany Falls, Aero Components in Bouckville, and later did home health care. Margaret cherished the times spent with family, especially her great-grandchildren, and was happily anticipating the birth of her fourth great-grandchild. She also enjoyed cooking, growing flowers, bird watching and loving on family pets.
Margaret was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Hamilton.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Joseph; her children, Debora and Andrew Hall of Bouckville; Joseph and Theresa Kidd of Sylvan Beach; grandchildren, Andrew “AJ” and Erica Hall of Durham, NC; Christopher and Salome Hall of El Cajon, CA; Lana and Keith “Casey” Palmer, Jr. of Verona; Elise and David Cudmore of Lyneham, England; her beloved great-grandchildren, Amelia Hall, Keith “Eddie” Palmer, III; and Frederick “Freddie” Cudmore; a brother, Bernard Hoch of Roanoke, VA; a sister, Linda Barbour of Oneida; a sister-in-law, Jan Hoch of Oneida; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Norman, Theodore and George Hoch.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4pm Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 2-4pm Wednesday prior to the service.
