Janet E. Bridge, 75, of Route 12B, Deansboro, NY, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at her home.
She was born June 24, 1941 in Pulaski, NY, a daughter of the late George and Beatrice Murray Southworth and received her education in Madison schools. On February 19, 1960, Janet married Paul A. Bridge in St. Bernard’s Church, Waterville. He predeceased her on November 15, 2013. Janet was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to caring for her family. She was a communicant of St. Bernard’s Church in Waterville.
Surviving are her children, Paul A. Bridge, Jr. and Dana Dupree of Bridgewater; George Bridge, William and Donna Bridge, Naomi and Scott Saville, all of Waterville; Chris Bridge of North Brookfield; Brian Bridge and Sara Briggs of Deansboro; Veronica Lymon and Charlie Jones of Brookfield; daughter-in-law, Cathy Bridge of Waterville; son-in-law, Joseph Lymon of Bridgewater; sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Peter Stannard, Joanne and Roland Shea, all of Munnsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne Southworth of Dewitt; Loren Southworth of Munnsville; Darwin and Peg Southworth of Oneida; Richard and Linda Southworth of MN; sister-in-law, Nancy Bridge of Kansas City, KS; brother-in-law, Peter and Linda Bridge, Belleville, NJ; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two grandsons, Alex Saville and Brady Bridge.
Funeral services will be held at 7pm Monday, November 28, 2016 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, Kloster & Northrop Memorial Chapel, 210 E. Main St., Waterville.
Interment will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Waterville in the spring.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7pm prior to the service.
