Paul M. Vantine, 53, of Hamilton, NY, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
He was born December 25, 1961 in Hamilton, a son of Paul R. and Dona M. Wells Vantine. He received his early education in Hamilton schools and was a graduate of Valley High School in Las Vegas, NV. He received a BS in Accounting and Finance from Arizona State University in 1984, and his MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2000. On November 11, 1998, Paul married Cynthia E. Thomas in Las Vegas. He was the controller for the Stratosphere Gaming Corporation, Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas until moving back to Hamilton NY in 2004. For the past eleven years was the Chief Financial Officer for Vantine Imaging in Hamilton. He was a generous and caring man who was always there to help a person in need. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Paul was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge #669 of Hamilton; CNY International Business Alliance; and ACFE Chapter Leaders.
Paul is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his parents, Paul and Dona Vantine, Las Vegas, NV; his children, Dr. Paul Ryan and Pree Vantine, Albuquerque, NM; Steven and Lisa Vantine, Greg Vantine, and Matthew Reardon, all of Las Vegas, NV; Sarah Vantine, Rachel and Fred Fall, and Samantha Reardon, all of Hamilton, NY; a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Richard Kish, Apple Valley, CA; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles Vantine and Melissa Sullivan, Hamilton, NY; eight grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, April 18, 2015 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY.
Interment will be private at the convenience of his family.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from Noon until 2pm.
