OBITUARY
Robert F. Jordan, 67, of Route 8, Cassville, NY, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 at his home.
He was born June 18, 1944 in Oriskany Falls, a son of the late Edward and Catherine Burns Jordan, and received his education in Oriskany Falls schools. Robert married Leona M. Cota who predeceased him in April 1991. He was a truck driver for Carparelli Bros. in New Hartford for many years, and then worked for Al Roberts Construction in New Hartford until his retirement. He loved the outdoors and camping. He also enjoyed going to Bluegrass festivals.
Surviving are his companion, Marlene Shipman; his children, Carla Luther and Robert of Cassville; Tina Arcello of Amsterdam; Robert Jordan, Jr. and Mary of Brookfield; Timothy Jordan and Tiffany of Brookfield; brother, Francis Jordan of Oriskany Falls; sister-in-law, Charlene Jordan of Oriskany Falls; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. A brother, James Jordan predeceased him.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Church in Oriskany Falls, followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
