Obituary for John F. "Jack" Mulligan

JOHN F. MULLIGAN

EARLVILLE: John F. “Jack” Mulligan, 88, of Campbell Rd., passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the home of his daughter.
He was born on August 2, 1930 in the Town of Brookfield a son of the late Francis and Dora Burdick Mulligan and was a graduate of Brookfield High School. Jack married the former Juanita Baum in 1951. He was self-employed dairy farmer and owned and operated Skyline Farms in Earlville. He was an avid horseman and enjoyed showing as well as driving his own team. He was a member of the Lebanon Federated Church, New York State Draft Horse Club and the National Percheron Association.
Surviving are his wife, Juanita; daughter, Jane Mulligan of Hamilton; sons, Joseph “Joe” and James “Jim” Mulligan of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Karen Mulligan of Eaton, Brenda and Scott Bowling and their daughter and Jack’s great granddaughter Bethani of Brookfield, Michael Mulligan of Lebanon, Kevin Young of Hamilton, Jessica Mulligan and her husband Ryan Latta of NC, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Judith, son, Jeri, granddaughter, Julia. daughter in law Vicki, a brother, Lawrence “Larry” and a sister Helen Crandall.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1 PM from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville, NY.
Friends are invited and may call, Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the spring in the Brookfield Cemetery.
Contribution’s in Jack’s memory may be made to the Lebanon Federated Church or the NYS Draft Horse Club. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
