Obituary for Mary Jane Palmer (Davey)

: Mary Jane Palmer, 93, lifelong Earlville resident, passed away Tuesday January 1, 2019 at the home of her daughter, Julie.
She was born July 13, 1925 in Earlville, a daughter of William C., Sr. and Zelda M. Morey Davey. She was a graduate of Earlville High School and Central City Business Institute in Syracuse. On January 25, 1947, Mary Jane married Myron S. Palmer in Earlville. He predeceased her on January 9, 1980. Mary Jane worked as the bookkeeper for Reed’s Hardware in Hamilton until retiring. She enjoyed bowling at Hi-Skor Lanes in Earlville.
She was a member of the Earlville Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Thomas B. Palmer of Carlisle, PA; Donna S. and Edward Robinson of Throop; Michele M. Palmer and Stephen Soltes of Old Forge; Julie A. Tubbs and David C. Bean of Madison; Theresa M. Rockwell and Bill Bergner of Madison; grandchildren, Michael Palmer, Noelle Clodfelter, Brian Palmer, Korin Harding, Gregory Robinson, Nicole Tubbs, Alexis Tubbs, Scott Rockwell and Rachel Rockwell; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Annette J. Palmer; and brothers, Edwin, William and Donald Davey.
In keeping with her wishes, there are no services or calling hours.
Interment in the Earlville Cemetery will be private in the spring.
