Obituary for David A. Hatch

David A. Hatch, 77, of Fargo Rd., Bouckville,NY, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
He was born January 19, 1941 in the Town of Eaton, a son of Donald S. and Margaret Jollie Hatch and was a graduate of Morrisville-Eaton High School. On November 10, 1962, David married Sandra Jean Clark in Eaton, a loving union of 55 years. David worked at SUNY, Morrisville for 35 years until retiring. He also owned and operated Hatch’s Bait Shop for 39 years. Through that, he enjoyed the company of the many friends he made there, including the Crow Hill Gang and his true friend and hunting partner, Art Lemery. David was an avid hunter and fisherman, as well as a supporter of local high school sports.
He was a former member of the Eaton and Morrisville Fire Departments and the local Fish and Game Club.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra; a son, Doug Hatch; two sisters, Janet (William) Harkins and Sylvia Boylan; three brothers, Tom, Jim and Joey Hatch; special cousins, Mark and Roy Hatch; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Nancy Denny, Peggy and Richard Lent, Patricia and Kent White, Barbara and Michael Artessa; Billie and Steve Mennig, Mary and Mike Russell and Chuck Clark. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Nancy; brother, Roger Hatch; brother-in-law and hunting partner, William Denny.
In keeping with David’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
