Condolence From: Tom Upton
Condolence: My sincere condolences to the family during this sad time. I remember Marv as a happy guy, always smiling with kind words. He brought me into the Fire Dept in 1966 and taught me a healthy respect for what it means to be a Fireman. He was a great role model.

Condolence: Dear Dot, Pam ,Eric and Jill, I am sorry to hear about Marv. I worked with Marv from 1972-1988 @ Cossitt's gravel bed and block plant. He had an amazing ability, and knowledge, to repair/build anything that needed it. In 1975 when we moved the "plant" from Earlville to Middleport, I was "tutored" by Marv and Bill Ballard, what a pair to learn from! Marv was an awesome foreman. He was very patient and understanding with a "snot nosed kid". As we worked together over the yrs. I got to know his family. I also got to know the love he had for All of you kids(we talked about a lot of "stuff" @ lunchtime). I remember Marv and Dot coming to Kevin's football games when I coached, he was a good grampa! Probably one of the best boss' I ever had. He gave me the confidence and a lot of knowledge which I used all the yrs I worked. He was one of Cossitt's best men. Alfred and Lonell Cossitt loved Marv Jantzen and I guess, when I stop and think about it, so did I. Again, I'm so sorry. "Smalltown U.S.A." lost a great man On Sept. 5, 2018
