Obituary for Karl E. Davis

Karl E. Davis, 62, of Sanger Ave., Waterville, NY, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford.
He was born April 7, 1956 in New Hartford, a son of the late Lyle E. and Jean Burns Davis. He was a graduate of Waterville High School and received his Associates Degree in Welding from MVCC. On November 17, 1990, Karl married Sandra Eisenhut at St. Bernard’s Church in Waterville. Karl owned and operated the Main Street Garage in Waterville until 2014. He loved music and was a talented musician who played guitar with his band “All Tuned Up”. He was also a master woodworker who created many beautiful pieces of furniture and other items. He enjoyed fishing and riding the Harley Davidson motorcycle that he built.
Karl was a communicant of St. Bernard’s Church in Waterville.
Surviving are his wife, Sandy; his children, Karlie Davis of Waterville; Ann Marie Mezza and fiancé, June David of Waterville; sisters, Linda Davis of Waterville; Chyrl Davis-Newton of Camillus; grandchildren, Aubrielle, Julianna, Andrew, Alexis, Mahkay lah; great-grand baby, Liam; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters, Lisa A. Davis in 2012, and Holly E. Davis-Brackett in 2014.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Church, 199 Stafford Ave., Waterville, followed by a reception at the church.
There are no calling hours.
Contributions in his memory may be made to the Waterville Area Food Pantry, 145 Stafford Ave., Waterville, NY 13480.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville.
