Helen D. Nower, 98, of Maple Ave., Bouckville, NY, passed away Saturday July 14, 2018 at Waterville Residential Care Center.
She was born November 27, 1919 in Madison, a daughter of the late Ernest F. and Julia Lollman Dahn. She was a graduate of Madison High School. On March 2, 1940, in Bouckville, she was married to the late Willard C. Nower.
Helen was a member of the Bouckville United Methodist Church and Madison Village Historical Society. She was a past member of the Fireman’s Auxiliary, the NYS Fireman Ladies Auxiliary and the Hamilton Grange.
She is survived by her children, Judy Stockton of Bouckville, Carol (Robert) Albrecht of Hamilton, Joan (Roger) Miller of Morris, Willard “Butch” (Janis) Nower of King Ferry and Mark (Jacqueline) Nower of Bouckville; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by son-in-law Dale Stockton; grandsons, Douglas Stockton and John R. Albrecht; brother, Ralph Dahn; and sister, Ruth Wood.
Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from United Methodist Church, Route 20, Bouckville, NY, followed by interment in the Earlville Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call from 11am to 1 pm prior to the service.
