Jean M. Morgan, 80, of Farrier Ave., Oneida, NY, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.
She was born January 29, 1938 in Watertown, NY, a daughter of Kenneth and Frances Norris Chase and received her education in Watertown and Cazenovia schools. Jean was a homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a member and past president of the Erieville Firemen’s Auxiliary.
Surviving are her children, Dawn and Stephen Hongo of Cheyenne, WY; Shawn Massett of Escondido, CA; Patrick and Marsha Massett of Erieville, NY; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Diane Chase of Central Square; Charles and Barbara Chase of Minoa; a sister-in-law, Barbara Chase of Manlius; brother-in-law, Roger Marris of East Syracuse; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends at Oneida Towers II. She was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Spencer and Constance Marris; two brothers, Raymond and Sonny Chase.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of her family in the Erieville Cemetery.
