Richard C. “Wolfy” Hedges, Jr. 59, of Fayette St., Earlville, NY, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018.
Rick was born February 5, 1958 in Hamilton, NY a son of Richard C., Sr. and Nancy Welch Hedges and was a graduate of Oxford Academy. On August 21, 1982, he married Mary Lynn Briggs in Lebanon, NY. Rick had been a bus driver for the Sherburne-Earlville school district for over 10 years. He had also worked at Simmons Precision in Norwich, Cossitt Concrete, Colgate University and the Turning Stone. He was a music lover who enjoyed going to concerts and karaoke. Riding motorcycles, spending time on his computer and making people laugh were some of his favorite past times.
Surviving are his father, Richard Hedges, Sr. of Cazenovia; mother, Nancy Harvey of Crescent City, FL; a son, Richard James (Kristie) Hedges of Sherburne; a sister, Holly Hedges of Crescent City, FL; aunts, Donna Serles and Kathy Welch; and many cousins.
A Memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, February 3, 2018 in the Grace Manor community room, 12 Knapp St., Sherburne, NY.
