Keri L. Collins, 52, of County Road 23c, North Norwich, NY, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her home.
She was born October 14, 1965 in Norwich, NY a daughter of Howard E. and Judith A. Jensen Thornton. She was a graduate of Norwich High School and Cazenovia College. On July 25, 1992, she married James T. Collins at the United Methodist Church in Plymouth. Keri worked at the Big M in Sherburne for over 25 years. She was also a sales representative for Clever Containers. She loved the outdoors, especially the times spent at camp, kayaking and fishing.
Surviving are her husband, Jim; her parents, Howard and Judith Thornton of Norwich; her mother-in-law, Catherine Collins of Grand Island, FL; her children, Tia Collins of Sherburne; Kali Collins of Rochester; and Beka Collins-Flynn of North Norwich; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Keith and Tracey Thornton of Sherburne; and Jeffrey Thornton of Norwich; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Richard Collins.
Funeral services will be held at 7pm Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Interment will be at the convenience of her family.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7pm prior to the service.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the United Methodist Church in Plymouth, or to the First United Methodist Church in Sherburne.
