Condolence: He is so missed. An inspiration to so many. His wide arms enbraced all who needed caring and love.
May his soul live on through the living's service to others.
Condolences to his family and numerous loved ones.
Condolence: My sincere sympathy to Vernon's family and friends. (I am his cousin Noreane Ross'oldest daughter -William Ross'granddaughter, met him at some of the Ross reunions). I read Timothy's beautiful Eulogy about Vernon. He sounded like such a wonderful Man!!! Carrying his daughter in school when she broke her foot, I laughed because pretending my foot hurt so he would carry me a few more days sounded like something I would have done as a child ^^. And Vernon driving right back through a blizzard for 3 hours to get his son, after being told mistakenly the flight was cancelled.. Meeting Martin Luther King, believing in equality for all. Very, very Proud he was my relative.. I also love the end of the Eulogy about doing things for other people to make your life better.. so true.. Thank You for sharing your memories and thoughts Tim. Love Pam
Condolence: So many wonderful memories! We always looked forward to his Christmas letter with news of his family and Hamilton. Favorite memory: When Zachery, Tricia's son, first met Rev. and Zach leaned so far back to see Vern's face that he fell over backwards! I always enjoyed his sermons and handing in written critiques afterwards! He really made me think about my faith. I will treasure his memory and his quiet ways always.Much love and sympathy to his family.
Condolence: you were an inspiration to many! Bringing my children to get their tree was great but the highlight of day was the hot cocoa and conversation with Rev Ross.
