Patricia A. “Pat” Cross, 72, of State Highway 23, Norwich, NY, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
She was born January 23, 1945 in Norwich, a daughter of Merton M. and Lillian Gross Law and was a graduate of South Otselic High School. On April 20, 1968, Pat married Jeffrey Cross in Norwich. She had been a nurse’s aide at Chenango Memorial Hospital for 27 years. Her love and devotion to her family was always her first priority. Pat enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia and porcelain dolls, and camping. She also loved hummingbirds and cardinals. She was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Jeff; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Allan Doing, Michele and Robert Carhart, all of Sherburne; a sister, Marion Condon of Norwich; her beloved grandchildren, Marissa, Mitchell, and Vanessa Doing, Dalton Peek, Jordan Carhart and Christian Carhart; a niece, Chastity Condon; nephews, Michael Law, Rick Condon, Scott Doing and Troy Smith. She was predeceased by a sister, Alberta Smith, and a brother, Leslie “Bud” Law.
A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of her family with interment in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Norwich.
