Cassandra “Cassie” M. Palmer, 66, formerly of Norwich, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY.
She was born July 21, 1951 in Norwich, a daughter of Robert H. and Evelyn Norton Palmer and was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School. Cassie had worked at Jamesway and Grants in Norwich, did home healthcare for Kimberly Care in Norwich; and was a nurse’s aide at Chenango Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed going to craft shows, watching movies and Syracuse University basketball. She loved animals.
Cassie is survived by her mother, Evelyn Palmer of Norwich; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Robin Tucker Palmer of Smyrna; Tracy and Randy Hull of Sherburne; nieces and nephews, Megan Tucker of Sherburne, Cheyanne Tucker of Smyrna; Matthew Hull and Nicholas Hull, both of Sherburne. She was predeceased by her father, Robert in 1979, and a brother, Lawrence Palmer in 2016.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of her family in the North Norwich Cemetery.
