Edna L. Fink (Buyea), 81, of West Main St., Norwich, NY, formerly of Deposit, NY, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at her home.
She was born March 26, 1936 in Deposit, a daughter of Arvid and Hattie Bolster Fink and was a graduate of Deposit High School. Edna married Robert E. Buyea in 1963. He predeceased her in 1993. Edna was a homemaker who devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. They were the light of her life.
Surviving are her children, Lori Webb and Tim White, Cindy and Dale Townsend, all of Norwich; Rhonda Buyea and Greg Brewer of McDonough; Roberta and Rudy Locke of Stratford; three sisters, Luella Nelson of New Berlin, Patricia Adsit of Sherburne; and Linda Warren of New Berlin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Cecil Fink of South Plymouth; Ronald and Susie Fink of New Berlin; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Wilbur Fink.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, followed by interment in the Hambletville Cemetery, Deposit, NY.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7pm.
