Linda Holliday, 54, was born on April 28, 1963. She went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2017. She was cared for at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. This past year she fought multiple illnesses including cancer (multiple myeloma) and renal failure. She was strong in her faith and trusted the Lord to heal her. God was able to give her peace throughout her journey. Nothing brought her more joy than being a mother. She always said her greatest blessings in life were her four children. She dedicated her life to being a nanny and caring for many other children and families. She enjoyed family gatherings to share her love of cooking and baking. The simple pleasures in life brought her joy; such as gardening, exercising, and watching cooking shows.
Linda was a devoted daughter to her mother and father, Ione and David Barney. She was reunited with her predeceased father, David Barney who passed on August 26, 2016. She was a loving sister and sister-in-law to Laurie and William Clark of Bouckville. She was a nurturing mother to three daughters, Katelyn Holliday of Pittsburgh, PA; Kristen Holliday and her fiancé, Nathan Stouffer of Winston Salem, NC; Kara Holliday of Cleveland, OH; a son, Nathaniel Holliday of Cleveland, OH; a niece Jenna St. Pierre and her husband Chris St. Pierre of New Woodstock; a nephew J.D. Clark and his wife Alicia Clark of Vernon; a brother and sister-in-law Mike and Heather Holliday of Ravenna, OH; her two nieces Amber and Jenna Holliday of Ravenna, OH.
