Condolence From: Karen McGrew
Condolence: Condolences to my cousins Kim and Rebecca and Tim . I will always remember sweet and loving Aunt Char, and the laughter she brought to everyone with her jokes and stories. I imagine her now with your Dad, and with my Mom and Dad, playing cards and laughing at the jokes and stories! We can all learn from her example of a life spreading joy and fun! With love to you all, Karen

Condolence: Absolutely my favorite mom of all my friends' moms! If we had been contemporaries, we'd have been fast friends, and I'll tell you why...Char Harter had the greatest sense of humor, and if there were a group of people laughing, Char would be smack dab in the middle, enjoying the anecdote, pun, joke, funny story, or double entendres. Her sharp wit could fling zingers and one liners your way at any time, and it always amused her if you could fling one back!!
She also had a keen awareness of human nature and was a great person to go to for advice. Whip smart and practical advice, often opinionated, but never diluted. Her daughters inherited this trait, too, for which I am grateful when I call Kim for her solid voice of reason.
So when I think of Char, I see her laughing and enjoying life. Talking politics, talking family escapades, dishing on whatever. Everyone should pull up a chair, be dealt into the game, and raise a toast to this wonderful woman who loved people and the nutty things that they do.
My deepest condolences to Kim, Rebecca, Tim, and Char's grandchildren. She will be missed by many and remembered forever. RIP Char! Thank you for including me in your circle of laughter!
