Kimberly A. Gagnon, 53, of State Route 315, Deansboro, NY, succumbed to a long hard battle with cancer/leukemia on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, with friends and family by her side.
She was born March 4, 1964 in Utica, NY, a daughter of the late James and Carol Malone Gagnon. Kimberly was a graduate of Oriskany Falls High School and the Utica School of Commerce. She enjoyed connecting with her friends on Facebook and playing computer games.
Surviving are a daughter, Victoria Gagnon, and her long time boyfriend Orlando Cajigas, both of Utica; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Marty Messenger of SC; Alice and Michael Lindsay of IN; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Jutta Gagnon of SC; Michael and Lisa Gagnon of Clinton; Christopher and Victoria Gagnon of Oriskany Falls; grandchildren, Timothy, Jayden, Aiyanna and Chloe; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving is her canine companion, Toby. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, James Gagnon, Jr., and a sister, Jacqueline Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday, July 20, 2017 from the Kloster & Northrop Memorial Chapel at Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville, followed by interment in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Waterville.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-2 pm prior to the service.
