Condolence: To the family of Gil Porter,
My late husband, Dr. David A. Morrow, was on Gil's dairy cattle judging team at Penn State. When the Dairy Science Department had a silent auction about 20 years ago to raise money for scholarships Dave outbid Darwin to get the large silver plate inscribed as follows:

Judging Trophy
National Dairy Cattle Congress
1955
Team Members: Darwin G. Braund '56, David A. Morrow '56, Fred L. Seipt '56
Coach: Gilbert H. Porter
I know that Dave admired Gil and considered him a friend. This trophy plate that will be passed down in the Morrow family will forever keep Gil's name connected with Dave's.
