Obituary for Patricia A. Lamb (Weimer)

Patricia A. Lamb (Weimer)
Patricia Ann (“Pat”) Lamb, 90, of Hamilton, New York, died at her Lake Moraine home on July 4, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Pat was born in Morrisville, New York, on March 21, 1927, to Martha (Doyle) and Bernhardt Weimer. Following high school graduation, she attended the Powelson Business Institute in Syracuse and worked at Morrisville State College. After marriage and a few years of full-time motherhood, Pat spent 26 years at Hamilton Central School, serving as Elementary Librarian and ultimately as Executive Secretary to the Superintendent.
On October 11, 1952, Pat married the man of her dreams, Richard Wayne Lamb of Hamilton, New York. They spent the last 65 years together as a compelling example of what true, devoted love really means.
Pat is also survived by her three children, Richard Lamb, Jr. (Pat) of East Syracuse; Sue Lamb Myers (Ron) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Hamilton; and Andrew Lamb (Kim) of San Diego, California; grandchildren Cory Lamb (Rosaanna) of Grove City, Ohio; Craig Lamb (Kelly) of Rochester, New York; Richard Lamb III of East Syracuse, New York; Zachary Lamb and Justin Lamb, both of Sacramento, California; and six great-grandchildren. Her brother, Robert Weimer of Morrisville, New York, preceded Pat in death.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in Pat’s honor at St. Mary’s Church, Hamilton, on Thursday, July 13, at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s memory to any charity of choice.
Interment will be private, at the convenience of the family.
Pat’s family conveys their gratitude to Patti Rounds of Georgetown, New York, and her caregiver colleagues for their years of loving and attentive service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY.
