Primarily, Dorothy devoted her life to caring for her family. She was a fabulous cook and was well known for her strawberry shortcake. She was a blue-ribbon winner for her cooking at the Broome County Fair every year. Dorothy was also an avid hunter and loved gardening. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Active in her community, Dorothy had been a member of the Whitney Point Little League board where she served as its President. She was also a former member and President of the Whitney Point PTA.
