Condolence: Dear Mike, I met MY MIKE October 25, 1977. Mike proposed on our third date. I loved Mike from the first time we met. He was such a wonderful man and we had a wonderful and happy life together. I took Mike to the best doctor on Long Island where he was told he had to take care of his health. I did everything I could to keep him well. The years passed too quickly, and I am devastated that I lost Mike May 9, 2017. HE WAS EVERYTHING TO ME!!!! I cannot wait to be with him in Heaven. I am broken hearted and every single day is an effort to go on. I tried to find him a kidney donor, I tried to give him my kidney, but it did not work out. It isn't as easy as people may think to find a kidney donor. There is no guarantee it will work. Dialysis is a short term treatment which eventually attacks your body. Many people we met at dialysis on Long Island passed away after five years of treatment. I know I changed drastically when Mike got sick, but I never left his side and did all I could to keep him going. I lost my mom and dad, my twin sister Donna, and brother, francis James Monigan. The emptiness that surrounds my heart is unbearable and makes it hard to go on. I ask GOD to take me home to be with my family. Mike, I was the only one you wanted to call you Mikey. Meeting you thanks to a friend was the best gift GOD ever sent to me. Please know you are never out of my thoughts, always in my heart. I wear my rings all the time. When I sign my name Lillian Nugnes, I still get a thrill knowing that I will always be your wife. Be at peace, Mikey, and ask everyone I love, especially you to pray that I have the courage to go on. I hope this journey on earth will be over soon, so I can return home to you, mom, dad, Donna, Frank and all our family. I love and miss you so much! You are everything to me! Condolence: To Michael's beloved wife, Lillian, his family of origin, and in-laws:

Within a day or so of Michael's untimely death this past Tuesday, May 9th, Ernesto & I were kindly informed by former BPMite Cheryl Raffaele via email.

We extend our deepest, most heartfelt condolences to each + all surviving family members, friends, and neighbors. May you all find consolation in your faith, memories of Michael, and through one another's special care.

Michael was a good, kind, fun-loving, and responsible man who loved his wife Lillian, family, friends, and pets, and was kind to others like us; he'll be remembered fondly.

We've no doubt cherished family + friends pre-deceasing Michael are lovingly welcoming him home. We'll pray for Michael's soul... which we believe is now resting peacefully + joyfully with God in Heaven.
