Condolence From: Timothy Dewey, SE Class of 1973
Condolence: It's with sadness that I learned of my classmate Jim's passing. I remember his bright smile and that he was a fiercely competitive basketball player. When we played basketball together in grade/middle school I could rarely shoot through his tough defense so I developed a successful hook shot which he marveled at. My sincere sympathies go out to his surviving mother, children, and family. Rest in peace and keep working on your hook shot.

Condolence: My heart goes out to Jim's family for their loss. I have such fond memories of Jim's smile, his unique sense of humor. I remember him explaining heat lightening to me - I think of him every time I see heat lightening.

Condolence: To Jims family I send my most heartfelt sympathy. We spoke a few years back and had a pleasant conversation catching up. I will think of him, with a smile, on May 26th, a birthday we shared. "To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die " ~Thomas Campbell

Condolence: It is genuinely heartbreaking to lose a Sherburne classmate. Back in the day when we called him Jimmy, I spent what seemed like my first hour after school on my grandmothers party line talking to Jimmy. He was the first boy I ever kissed, which with the hardware called braces, was not easy. I will never forget the parties at his parents diner. While not wild by today's standards, we felt pretty cool unchaperoned in the 7th/8th grades. Jimmy turned into James and disappeared and it is a sweet note to see he graduated from Hamilton, put years in the service and fathered children. I hope he had good years. My condolences to his children, and immediate family. 61 feels darn young. I am sorry for your and our loss.

Condolence: To Jim's family, sorry for your loss. I was in Jim's Sherburne school class. I remember helping Jim peel potatoes in the dinner so we could go ride on his go-cart. I heard that Jim became a good musician, wish I'd heard him. Sorry
