JENNIE J. ABRAHAM

SHERBURNE: Jennie J. Abraham, 89, of School St., passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Chase Memorial Nursing Home in New Berlin, NY.
She was born June 5, 1928 in Utica, a daughter of George and Azma Bohanna Abraham. She was a graduate of Sherburne High School where she had been a cheerleader. Jennie worked for GLA in Norwich; T.A.C.O., and then Sherwood Medical in Sherburne until retiring.
She was a communicant of St. Malachy’s Church in Sherburne. She had been a member of the American Legion Post #876 Auxiliary in Sherburne. Jennie enjoyed bowling and participated in many tournaments over the years.
Surviving is a brother, Anthony “Abe” Abraham of Argyle, NY, and three nieces. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Elias and Helen Capria.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. Malachy’s Church, East State St., Sherburne, followed by interment in St. Malachy’s Cemetery.
