Condolence: I didn't know Dick personally, but through sports I knew him well. I played against him in football, basketball, and baseball. We were state champs in basketball at Earlville in
1962 and the following year Dick and his team mates beat us for the championship. He was always a class athlete, the kind you automatically respected, and you knew would go on to bigger and better things. The courts and playing fields are short one of their best teammates today!!!

Condolence: My Good Friend
I played three sports (football, basketball and baseball) with Dick in high school. He was not only a great teammate, but most of all a great friend. I think the biggest highlight was the defeat of Earlville 68-60 in a sectional basketball game followed by winning the Class C Championship game against Lowville. It wasn't any surprised to me to hear all his accomplishments as a basketball coach. He knew the fundamentals of the game and how to get them across to his young players through the years. Aside from sports, I knew was a great family man, his love for Marilyn as a husband, his affection for their children, along with being an excellent Grandpa.
My wife and I live in Florida during the winter and we won't be up until the first of June. I'm sorry we won't be there Friday for the service. My heart goes out to you, Marilyn, and the family.
Dick, I will miss you and thanks for being my good friend.

Condolence: To Dick's family: My deepest condolences on your loss. I knew Dick through coaching basketball first in high school when he was at Madison and I was at Westhill. Later we coached together at Cazenovia College and watched numerous high school games together including a trip to Glens Falls. He was a great man of integrity and a great coach and friend. He touched the lives of so many and accomplished great things. I will forever remember him as a gentleman who had his priorities straight. I will miss him, but will always have fond memories.May God be with all of you during this difficult time.
