She met her husband Glen T. Williams on a blind date at a square dance & the two moved to Waterville. They were united in marriage on September 26, 1942. Four months after their marriage, Glen was called to serve his country during World War II. He served for three years without a single overnight pass. She was very active with the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile as part of the Ziyara Shriners organization. She was of Presbyterian faith but most recently became a member of the Waterville United Methodist Church. She loved to play kickball with her grandkids and always had a gigantic garden. Her and her family enjoyed trips to Cape Cod in the summer and playing cards with their friends.
