Obituary for Antonette M. Zambri (Morra)

Antonette M. Zambri, 99, of Sanger Ave., passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Harding Nursing Home in Waterville.
She was born May 24, 1916 in Herkimer, a daughter of Benjamin and Concetta Visconi Morra and received her education in local schools. On September 29, 1935, Antonette married Rocca A. Zambri at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church in Gloversville. He predeceased her on July 6, 2005. Antonette was a manager at the Waterville Knitting Mill until her retirement. She and Rocco especially enjoyed socializing at the Sons of Italy #2054 in Utica for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Bernard’s Church in Waterville.
Surviving are a daughter, Josephine Tuttle of Orlando, FL; a son, Richard Zambri of CO; a sister, Mary Nunno of Auburn; her grandchildren, Brian Tuttle of Sherrill; Kevin and April Tuttle of Orlando, FL; Justin, Karena and Hannah Zambri, all of CO; a great-grandson, Dellinger Tuttle of Orlando, FL. She was predeceased by two sisters, Carmella Ciocca and Rose Ciocca.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm Saturday, November 21, 2015 from St. Bernard’s Church, 199 Stafford Ave., Waterville, followed by interment in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home (Kloster and Northrop Memorial Chapel), 210 E. Main St., Waterville on Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Bernard’s Church Memorial Fund.
