BOUCKVILLE: Susan M. Zeidner, 57, of Perkins Rd., passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.
She was born October 3, 1956 in New Berlin, NY, a daughter of Ebenezer and Rosetta Muller Jaquay. Susan graduated from New Berlin High School, received her LPN degree from SUNY Delhi, and her RN degree from SUNY Morrisville. On July 17, 2004, Susan married Frederick Zeidner at Chittenango Falls, NY. She had previously been married to Thomas Atwell, Sr. Susan worked as a nurse for 38 years, at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford, the Bassett Family Health Center in Hamilton, and most recently for Chenango County as a Public Health Nurse. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and spending time with them was her greatest joy.
She was a member of the Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Fred; her mother, Rosetta Jaquay of Sherburne; children, Thomas Jr. and Kelly Atwell of Sherburne; Anna Atwell of Baldwinsville; step-children, Jennifer and Hoyt Swann of MD; Brian and Patricia Zeidner of PA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and William McNeice of CT; Diane and John Fisken of WA; brother and sister-in-law, Ebenezer, Jr. and Lisa Jaquay of PA; grandchildren, Madyson and Abigail Atwell; step-grandchildren, Benjamin and Zachary Zeidner, Andrea and Alex Swann. She was predeceased by her father, Ebenezer Jaquay and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Atwell.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, August 23, 2014 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, followed by interment in the Columbus Corners Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8pm.
